Well we are half way through this years themes already!  I have thrown the letters up in the air this time round and the mix will be that the themes and colours will not be the same letter for each challenge. I have also sorted out some new prizes too.

I'm delighted to welcome back my next Guest Designer.

Kate P.
 (Winner of #72)

Hi. I was delighted to be invited as Guest Designer for the Butterfly Challenge #82 . I am married with five sons, seven grandchildren, five of them boys, and two great-grandsons. But since 2009, Chris and I have lived in Andalucia, S.Spain, and our family consists of three dogs and four cats, all rescued animals. I have been crafting in one way or another all my life, but since my retirement in 2007 it has become my main hobby. I started in papercraft with stamping and then was so excited to discover heat embossing! Now I love incorporating die cutting, and making my own cut-outs with my Silhouette Cameo machine. I mostly make cards for personal use, but also dabble in scrapbooking, knitting, crochet, lace-making, and also photography. I follow online tutorials to improve my skills and I love to learn about new materials and techniques on the internet, and usually try them at least once. So I am looking forward to seeing what techniques you have used for this challenge.

Kate has chosen

the letter M for Matching Pairs  which has been teamed with O for the colour of Orange peel.

So I would like to see matching pairs of some description.  It can be in the embellishments or a stamped image. Please state what your matching pair/s are.

 (Winner of #76)

Hi. I am Tina and I live in Slovenia, a country well known for its stunning nature. I have been married to my high school sweetheart and we have a 6 year old daughter and two younger sons (5 and 3 years old). I started cardmaking in 2010 when my husband bought me my green Cuttlebug J.  I didn't know a hobby could be so addictive … Then in April 2015 I created my blog to share my passion for cardmaking.
Both decisions, to start cardmaking and to start blogging,  are among the best in my life, it is so inspiring. I don’t have any specific style, I just love playing with papers and trying different styles and techniques, e.g. CAS, vintage, cute, watercolour …
You can find more on my blog (http://www.treebug.org/). The name incorporates my passion for environment (»tree«) and cardmaking (»bug« is short for my green friend Cuttlebug)

Tina  has chosen

the letter K for Key which has been teamed with V for the colour Vermillion.

So I would like to see a key of some description wooden, stamped or even a key charm on your creations  and the colour Vermillion (which can be brilliant red or scarlet). The colour does  not  have to be the whole of  card it can just be a red bow or ribbon/ lace or design paper.

You may choose to use just the letter/theme + butterfly or use the colour +butterfly.
If you make your project using both the theme  letter and the colour +butterfly you will be eligible for going into a second draw to win an additional prize.

Here is Tina's card for you.

You can't see easily here but this is a lovely twisted easel card.

Please visit Tina  on her blog  Here for more details.
Thankyou  Tina for being my Guest Designer for #80.

#79 Butterflies +L is for Layers and/or the colour Cream

Welcome back to my Butterfly Challenge. Winners results for #78 are in the post below. They didn't publish earlier but they are there now so please make sure you check back as it could be you. Unclaimed prizes go back into the pot and there have been a few! Thankyou all so much for continuing to play along.
I'm very pleased to announce the set of themes and colours for the coming year. I have thrown the letters up in the air this time round and the mix will be that the themes and colours will not be the same letter for each challenge. I have also sorted out some new prizes too.

I'm delighted to introduce you to my next Guest Designer.

Alice P.
(Winner of #75)

I'm an italian teacher (of primary school).
I live with my six(!) kitties in a little country hill near the sea.
I started my blog in May 2014. I have always played with papers, glue and colours, but I have known cardmaking/crafting world only recently, when I bought my first Big Shot and some dies... Such a fabulous invention is it!
I like learning and try new things and always look at the amazing works of the so many talented crafter in Blogland.
I like to recycle, not only for an ecological and economical factor, but also because everything can be re-invented. When I was a kid, my Grandmother taught me to throw away the less possible, because everything can be looked with different eyes and used in different ways. She made me small boats with hulls of walnut-tree, and dolls with a knotting handkerchief... She preserved the papers of my Easter eggs, and then I made collage and decorated boxes with them. I enjoyed those papers!
So, now I hate wasting...I'm a compulsive hoarder :D
I love so much all the colours, the "girly style", animals, flowers and nature and all the sweet things make me happy!
Hope you like my little works and I can't wait to see yours!
